GoSpotCheck is excited to announce the release of our newest feature: Mobile notifications!
This feature—a mobile-first way to facilitate communication from Admins to Reps—enables GoSpotCheck users to receive important notifications on mobile devices. Mobile notifications can quickly alert users when a Mission is started, stopped, or ending soon. Users will also be alerted when a Mission Response they have not yet submitted is about to expire. Engaging this feature minimizes the amount of time it takes to receive updates or messages regarding key initiatives.
Mobile notifications are delivered in two ways:
- In-app Notifications
In-app notifications appear within the dedicated notifications area in the GoSpotCheck mobile application. They will be marked by a red dot in the main menu hamburger icon. Custom messages from Admins will also appear in the notifications area. In-app notifications are available offline once they have been received on the device. - Push Notifications
Push notifications are sent directly to a mobile user and show up as banners or as badges on an app icon. To receive push notifications, the user needs to give the GoSpotCheck app permission to send notifications to the device. Once the notification is dismissed, it can’t be retrieved.
